Online auction sites like eBay charges its users a listing fee to place a product for sale. If and when the item is sold, an additional final value fee is leveraged - in eBay's case, a fee of 5.25%. Some auction sites like uBid charges no listing fees, but makes up the difference with a high final value fee - as much as 11% of product's final value. In contrast, PhiMart offers no listing fees, and a final value fee of 5%.
